Between 2 Floors didn’t happen overnight. It grew through hard work, trusted builder relationships
and a genuine passion for creating staircases that are built to last.
A family trade, backed by 40 years experience
It all started with one staircase.
While building his own home in the UK, Jason wanted to import a staircase from Italy. Instead of paying a hefty import tax, he started a company to do it himself.
That company became Between 2 Floors.
After moving to Australia, Jason continued working in the staircase industry before establishing Between 2 Floors on the Sunshine Coast in 2014, bringing with him the experience and values the business had been built on.
With existing builder relationships and decades of hands-on experience, the business grew steadily by focusing on quality workmanship.
Today, Jason works alongside his son Matt, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern CAD design and CNC technology to create staircases for builders across South East Queensland.
It’s a partnership that’s helped shape the next chapter of the business while staying true to the standards it was built on.
