FEATURED PROJECT
For this Sunshine Beach home, the brief was clear. Create a three-level staircase that preserved the ocean outlook rather than interrupting it.
A standard spiral would have meant vertical bars breaking up the view, something the homeowner wasn’t willing to compromise on.
The solution was curved glass, sourced from a specialist supplier and shaped precisely to the stair’s spiral, so nothing stands between the stairs and the outlook.
The result is a striking architectural feature that feels open, refined and completely at home in the space, right down to sitting beside the home’s ceiling-hung fireplace, framed by that same ocean view.
OUR STORY
Between Two Floors is a father-and-son business led by Jason and Matt Morrissey.
Jason has spent close to 40 years in the building industry, beginning with a joinery apprenticeship in the UK.
Matt grew up on building sites before joining the business full-time, bringing CAD design and CNC expertise that has transformed the way the team designs and manufactures staircases.
Different generations, united by the belief that quality should never be compromised.
