Standard Handrails

Our standard 60mm x 40mm timber handrail is a versatile option that works across a wide range of staircase styles.

The rectangular profile provides a clean, straightforward finish and can be matched to the timber used throughout the staircase and surrounding project.

Whether fitted to the balustrade or wall mounted, each handrail is made to suit the individual staircase and finished as part of the overall installation.

Round Handrails

40mm Round · Timber · Smooth Profile · Versatile Finish

The 40mm round timber handrail offers a softer profile while keeping the finish simple and understated, with options available in timber or powder coated aluminium.

It works across both contemporary and more traditional staircase styles and can be coordinated with the timber and finishes used elsewhere in the project.

Made to suit the individual staircase, the round profile is a practical option where a clean, comfortable handrail is called for.

Timber Handrails with LED

Integrated Lighting · Timber Finish · Feature Detail · Custom Made

Integrated LED lighting takes a timber handrail from a functional part of the staircase to a feature in its own right.

The lighting is incorporated into the handrail, combining the warmth of timber with a subtle lighting detail that adds another dimension to the finished staircase.

Each LED timber handrail is made to suit the individual project, allowing it to work with the staircase, balustrade and surrounding finishes as one complete result.

Custom Handrails

Some staircases call for something outside the standard profiles. Custom handrails allow the material, profile and finish to be tailored to suit the requirements of the project.

Options range from traditional timber profiles such as Ladies Waist and Breadloaf to metal handrails including 50 × 10mm flat bar and 40mm round profiles. We also create more customised configurations, such as a 40 × 40mm profile with a 130 × 30mm section mounted to it, with the option to incorporate LED lighting.

Like the rest of the staircase, the handrail is worked through as part of the overall build so the finished result feels cohesive rather than added on afterwards.
